How advanced do you think treatments will be in 5-10 years?

I know no one can really tell, but with the development in hair transplants over the last ten years do you think it will keep improving?

I think that half or more of the time will be spent waiting for the FDA to get off their *** and approve whatever treatments are developed.

Hopefully they will be attainable in other countries

male pattern baldness will likely be cured in 5 years, but it will take the FDA 20 years to approve it for use in the US. You will have to fly to china to get treatment.

The only way hair transplants will work as a true solution is if they find some way to grow donor hair in a lab.

Since there is no real way we can truly contain the androgens from attacking our hair follicles, it seems the best solution will be stem cell stimulation of the hair follicles to get them to start growing again and be "repaired" from the DHT that's attacked it.

i highly doubt it. really all we can hope for is by then one of these newer anti angrogen drugs will have had better testing done on it, and for itto have worked.
