I tried almost everything from shampoos, nizoral 1%,2%...olive oil, vinegar but nothing helps..my scalp itch like crazy especially when i sweat and eat junk food.It helps a little when i shaved my head, but then scalp inflamed like-islands are visible and that is very disgusting,if i try to grow my hair, scalp itch again and area around hairs is always inflamed,it seems that body react to hair like if it was enemy.Im not even good hair transplant candidate, because i read, that u must have healthy scalp, for successfull surgery. Here are some pictures.

Have u tried other treatments or shampoos? People with seb derm report success with shampoos containing coal tar, zinc pyrithione, tea tree oil, selenium sulphide, salicylic acid, etc. You might need to test a few or rotate some.

Have u gotten a clear diagnosis for seb derm from a dermatologist? Psoriasis shares many similarities with seb derm but the treatments are similar.

If your scalp is oily you need to try and keep it clean especially if u have seb derm meaning wash daily or min every other day.

I find stress, lack of sleep, anxiety, drinking, bad diet make mine worse. Try to destress and not think about it.

No,i have very dry skin and redness is on the right eyebrow and near nose, too.I was diagnosed by my personal doctor, dermatologist only said that i have male pattern baldness, nothing else.Im thinking of visiting derm again.Oh i forgot to mention that im smoker but only 5-8 cigs per day,is possible that this will be causing problems too?
