Hormone check

There are many companies on the web who provide home testing kits for this to get DHT, Testosterone, Estrogen levels check etc. They seem to be done from saliva

Anyone done this and cheaply? Especially in the uk

Global put his results of a blood test on the forum which was good but I had a check with my doctor and the test they did they did not even give me the results just told me everything was normal so can't go back again.

I think its reassuring to know where your levels are and that the DHT inhibitors are working.

I completely agree Nick. In the UK its difficult to get blood tests done unless your dying, and when you do get them done its then difficult to get the figures - they just tell you your fine. The average doctor in the UK cannot get their head around the idea of someone wanting all these tests done for 'cosmetic' reasons.

I think that unless we get comprehensive tests done, we are shooting in the dark with treatments to a degree. If there was somewhere we could go to get full hormone testing done...DHEA, androstenedione, free test, total test, estradiol, cortisol etc and get all the figures, then it should be far easier to correct any imbalances. There just doesnt seem to be anywhere like this in the UK. Anyone know of such a place?

Ive just bought a testosterone/estrogen testing kit, but couldnt find a DHT one. Where did u find this?

Yeah, I wouldn't mind getting a hormone panel done. The ones I have seen on the net are all pretty limited (and expensive!)

The only one I found was Androbalance and when you look at the detail it says DHT testing is not currently available in the kit, the kits expensive too. So as for testing in UK for DHT we need to know somewhere that would do it and I have not found anywhere yet.

http://www.beyondacenturyonline.com has a hormone test kit. You can test for 8 different hormones, but I don't think DHT was one of them.
