Bald spots will vanish

BALDNESS will be completely treatable in a decade, it is claimed.

Cloning technology and new transplant techniques will end shiny pates for those who can afford it.

Perth expert Dr Jennifer Martinick said even the baldest man would be able to grow a full head of hair using technology that could replicate a single healthy hair follicle thousands of times.

These could be transplanted back on to the head using new techniques.

Dr Martinick said up to $10 million had been put into hair-cloning research at the University of Toronto alone.

"There is big bucks being spent on this around the world," she said.

"If you get into the psyche of hair loss it is all about losing self-esteem."

Medication already was available to treat thinning at the back of the head.

New technology would primarily focus on baldness above the forehead.

Thousands of WA men and women already pay up to $25,000 each to transplant hair at the back of their heads to the front.

Cloning technology initially would add considerable cost to the procedure.

within the decade, come on, that is at least
45x365x6 hairs away, I will be completely bald and accepting it by then

we have to come up with a cool operation name here, how about
operation reclamation

nah I dont like that one....all good covert ops have a name..that is the first rule.
