You have a normal size forehead and a strong jaw so yeah you probably could. But I wouldn't shave it just yet you still have good hair, you could always go for a high and tight too.

Idk man the shaved head is hard to pull off. I mean ya u will get used to it but you'll have a whole different perception of style when people look at you. Once you go bald you're perceived differently than you with hair. Also, I'd put up a fight if I had a head of hair like yours.

Believe me I feel you man my foreloxk is getting so thin lately I really have to be more consistent with finasteride. In the past 2 months I lost a nice amount of density due to taking a break. I regret it big time and hope I can make a recovery with some density, my hairline is a tiny little higher up than yours but my density is what's really killing me

I want to get on finasteride but I have low DHT pre finasteride! Like I'm 2 away from being out of normal range on the low side :(

It still looks like you have good hair, although we'd need photos from other angles to get a better picture. If I were in your shoes, I would fight it. You mentioned that you have low DHT naturally. However, you are still losing your hair, so your DHT must still be at a level where the male pattern baldness process is progressing. finasteride will bring your DHT even lower to the point that your hair loss will most likely stop. It is up to you whether you want to fight it or go sly. If it was me, I'd fight.

One thing you could try is go for a short cut. Buzz it like #4, then #3, then #2... etc.. instead of just going straight to shaving it.

I think that might help on getting you used to the new look.

I also have hypothyroidism and I am afraid of lowering my DHT too much
