HM at what thinning stage.

It only makes sense that one would wait until hair loss has completely stabilized prior to any surgical technique. However, for those people with gradual loss, (especially diffuse), it would be nice if these techniques could be carried out prior to complete loss.

Anyone have any ideas as to whether HM or other transplant techniques would be feasible at intermediate stages of hair loss such that the slick bald state could be avoided?

Almost wish I could keep my half head of hair until the day HM arrives, then scream the rest of it out so I can get the full procedure :)

Cheers.

i don't see why you couldn't do that. they can inject precise locations where they will put the follicles, so if you have diffuse loss, you could just fill in the areas that don't have hair. presumably, as well, the new hair follicles are thought to have a positive effect on the surrounding hairs as well, causing them to flourish. so, fingers crossed on that one, as i am a diffuse thinner as well.
