To my knowledge, heart problems have bever been seen as a result of any clinical trial on Finasteride.
There was one study that indicated 5AR suppression could possibly lead to hear problems, and as chugalot mentioned, Finfighter reported some major problems from it. It definitely isn't outside the realm of possibility, but I would say its quite unlikely.
Since you are a bit of an older gentleman Timi, I would say it's much more likely your blood pressure problems are caused by something else, if not age. When you hit your 40's you become much more prone to heart problems, especially higher blood pressure. Definitely speak with your doctor and let them examine you.
I actually had what I thought were heart problems a while back. Every time I took my blood pressure or used one of those automatic machines at grocery stores, my bp would skyrocket. When my nurse took my bp, same would happen and they would become very concerned. It turns out I was experiencing 'White coat hypertension', which is acute anxiety when having my bp taken and being in a doctors office.
The nurses tell me to lay down and hold my breath for 20 seconds while taking my bp. When i do this, it comes back down to normal. It's funny because I don't fear doctors in the least bit, but they say it happens automatically to some people.
