so probably im 23 my hairline has not receded maybe a little its pretty straight, o the front part is ok however on top left of side when i take photos with a flash you can see through!

basically iv attached some pictures after my shower and youll see what i mean...on the actual scalp i do not think there is any thinning its only on the left area really

also note ive cut my hair short so when i take a bright flash you can see more of it when i had bigger hair you couldn't see that much

so what do you guys think?

from the front the right side its pretty good when i have big hair its thick hair its just that part really i think might be thinning or maybe its always been thin i i noticed now?

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being definite Androgenetic Alopecia, your propensity to having Androgenetic Alopecia is not quite even 2, based on pictures you have presented (as it seems, you have perfect "wall to wall" solid frontal hairline). Side hair you are showing us as possible hairloss, ..lol..., is not hairloss but your shaved hair to the bone, baring naked skin. The only debatable point is the slight crown thinning that still is not quite Androgenetic Alopecia pattern

Gotta be honest, its sorta dodgy looking. IF you are worried, you should see a dermatologist in person. Hard to tell in these pictures.

my frontal line is pretty straight like wall to wall probs has receded like a mm since school...your right that patch does look dodgy! my actual swirl or scalp is ok but that part is really work and it looks like a bloody patch!

Stress is temporary hair loss. Your father just had his genes catch up to him. Families are too big, there is always "SOMEONE" that is bald in the family. Like my family... 95% of all my cousins have their hair. 5% have receding (NW3 the WORSE I have seen) hairlines. Me? My hairline is intact (NW2, mature hair line) but I'm diffused (thin hair) all over... gets worse and worse. Sucks... sometimes you just got the bad genes.

Not saying you are balding. You have good hair. I would see a derm, then you will have 100% answer. Though most derms are ****. So make sure you get one that knows about hair loss.

Androgenetic Alopecia = Androgenetic Aloepecia aka male pattern baldness = male pattern baldness. Your derm will most likely dismiss you as paranoid-keep us updated.
