Hey guys. I've just turned 28 and looking for a bit of advice!

Around 9 months or so ago, I started to notice the hair on the top of my head was slightly thinner to the touch than the rest of my head. I've always had really thick hair all over, so much so I used to have to get it razored every so often to keep it looking thin. Today, I thought I'd try and get some photographs using natural light outside, and to my absolute horror it looks quite thin around where my hair naturally parts in the middle. I never actually wear my hair like this, instead generally have it sort of messed up.

I had a look online, and it looked freakishly similar to female pattern baldness according to the Ludwig scale. Is there any precedence to this? A guy experiencing hair loss in the way a woman might expect to? In any case, if you could have a look at the attached pics and let me know what you think, that'd be amazing!

Cheers.

You are a guy correct? I can't tell. Maybe it looks like female pattern because of your long hair. Ask golden
ane what he thinks

Twisted your loss is similar to mine. From what I have been told by representative of a hair transplant Doctor, they consider Female pattern balding in males simply a form of diffuse thinning. So if you need a label, you have diffuse thinning. You have long fine hair so if you part it in the middle the weight of your hair separates the part even more. I used to wear my hair just like you did but when the thinning started like you had I cut my hair short now and wear it similar to John Stamos or George Clooney who both still have good hair.
