does anyone know of a procedure to cover scarring at back of head? had dodgy transplant during 90s and left ugly scars, but thought i heard of technique involving using body hair to cover region, myth or true?? cheers, uk

you could have a FUE procedure to cover the scar, provided you have enough donor hair.

FUE is where individual follicular units containing up to 4 hairs are extracted and relocated. It's a painless procedure that takes just a couple of hours. You can watch a DVD while it's being done. If you are in the UK, the best surgeon to see would be Dr Rogers at Rogers Medical.

i take it fue involves more head hair? wont this leave more scarring though?

Laser treatment will reduce the scarring, however, if no hair grows there, it will always show a little.
