Ever notice in the comics there are no N7 super heroes

they all look like this

scaled_Peter_Parker_Maschera.png
character_bio_576_superman.jpg

hell even THIS guy
images

All nice thick heads of hair.

Even the raging maniac Hulk would never sport a norwood 7

THAT IS until he turned evil in the future and Became the Meistro

Robert_Bruce_Banner_(Earth-9200).jpg

Hes a bad guy now so I guess its okay he's lost his hair with his mind.

My point is there are no bald super heroes

Look at Supermans arch nemesis.... Lex Luthor

Lex-Luthor.jpg

Batmans Nemesis Ras Al Ghul

I think everyone can see where we are going with this.

Do a google search for "bald super hero"

See what comes up, or what is in images.

Hey we have Prof X right? Oh the crippled..... nice (no offense)

Im not trying to make a "thing" out of this or bring "awareness"; hell I dont even READ comics, but really just want to show how society depicts the balding. Most guys who draw this are fat, baldos, and even they cant bring themselves to do it. A balding guy can't be heroic. Like a woman being beaten and raped in an alley or room full of hostages would turn down help from George castanza in a cape.

Now google image bald super villians, many more images.

Funny gay superheroes are "A OKAY" but a bald (and balding not shaved head black guy bald) are a no go.

Honestly you would think in a world of comic book geniuses both good and evil ONE would have cured baldness?!

Back in the 90s alot of superheroes in cartoons and comics often had some recession. See my avatar for instance. Also for 100% bald see Dr. Manhattan, deadpool!, nick fury, uatu, Thing(in rock form), riddick? Luke cage,

Dr Manhattan has zero hair at all, not bald
Deadpool never goes without a mask plus he is burnt over like 99% of his body like spawn, nick fury is a shaved head black guy but the original was a fully haired white guys, Uatu? The watcher? Not human and has a deformed massive head but not human, and the thing is a giant hairless rock man why would a rock man have hair.
Luke cage is also a shaved black guy. The only bald guys are black shavwed or alien.

Your avatar shows no signs of recession.

There are no bald-ing HEROES only villains.

If any of you watched Dragon Ball Z, then you would know that:

Vegeta had a very obvious receding hairline
Tien was completely bald
Piccolo (though green with 2 antennae) was completely bald
Krillin was completely bald
Chiaotzu had 1 hair

All of these were main character good guys, and Vegeta and Piccolo even had reigns as the strongest character

Other bald/balding characters:

Master Roshi
Kami (green)
Mr. Satan (receding hairline)
Dende (green)
Nail (green)

Villains:
Raditz (receding hairline)
Nappa
Dr. Gero
All of the strongest non-human villains had no hair

One of my all-time favorite comic characters, and of course, protagonist of his own comic (though he is not bald, he shaves his head, I don't know if that counts or not):

K sadly one thing I do know is DBZ lol

All the sayians you mention were described in a few places though cannon is argued between Jap to Eng.
A saiyins hair is contingent on their power and level/class. Its not receding its just how their hair looks. Like saying a Klingon has a receding hair line(ugh making myself seem like such a dork now and i HATE star trek). Ive watched everything a million time until after Buu where it just got way stupid.
Also Krillian is the b**ch of the series so hes a bad example, plus he DOES have hair he just shaves it I guess, he actually has a super thick head of hair. Piccolo is a Namek and his entire race has no hair (nor females for matter).
The only one you can say is bald would be Roshi but again is he bald? Or does he just shave? They never showed him with a N7 ring, and he is also portrayed as the biggest perv in ANY cartoon. Hes also not powerful really, hes just some old pervy trainer. Tiene as well is a bit off on what he is. How many humans have a 3rd eyeball. They never said if he was from another race or some mutant, and he is not powerful come the Z series, he as well pretty much is the "Private James" of the series getting killed by every new enemy then being brought back to life.
Honestly for Nappa who knows his deal but maybe his class of Saiyin doesnt have hair, but he is certaintly not receding.

Also my bad but Superman is an alien technically but he is humanoid... IE looks human as any other unlike many of the Marvel characters Agahi mentioned who are in no way really humanoid other than basic 2 arms and 2 legs.

Ganonford, Spider is not really a hero per say, isnt he like a reporter. Just some guy with no powers. Also deliberately shaving doesnt count. Remeber if you have a full head of hair and shave your cool, not the same for balding guys.

Im not trying to burst your bubbles or defy your points/argue but Im just telling you as it is.

There are NO balding heroes only villians.

Obviously the show is complete fantasy, so you can make an excuse for why every character has/doesn't have hair and why it does/does not matter. Same can be said about Superman, he isn't human. The X-men are mutants. They have hair, but since they aren't normal humans, does it not count toward Heroes having hair? We are talking about super heroes here, not normal people. Isn't this kind of silly anyway? Look at the strongest men in real life. Look at the best MMA fighters in the world. A lot of them are bald. It can be argued that most of the best of all time are bald. "You say that if you have a full head of hair and you shave you're cool, not the same for balding guys". This is wrong because if you shave all the hair from your head, there is no way to know the difference unless it is not shaved all the way. Also I don't think anybody really thinks that. You might just be overly obsessed about it.

- The point about sayian's hair not receding and just how it looks doesn't really matter. Vegeta and Raditz look like human beings with hair that has receded.
- Krillin may be kind of lame, but he was an originally one of the strongest characters in Dragon Ball. He also gets the girls in the show, though he is still lame
- Piccolo maybe Namek, but he is humanoid, and looks cool completely bald.
- Whether Roshi is bald or not (he is probably as bald as it gets) does not matter. He has no hair on his head at all, something all of us can choose to do. His character is funny, but when things get serious he can be one of the most respected characters on the show. He was also one of the strongest in Dragon Ball. Regardless, if he gets in the beast mode like in the picture, he is a very bad *** character.
- Tien was a bad *** in Dragon Ball. He is one of the cooler looking characters on the show, regardless if he falls behind in power level.
- Nappa has no hair on his head at all, and if the nerds on the internet are right, once a saiyan cuts their hair it stays like that forever, so Nappa is completely bald, his choice. His character is known as being very vain apparently, so being bald obviously doesn't bother him.

Here are some of the best MMA Fighters of All-Time (Actual Bad-Asses) (Bald/Receding):

Fedor Emelianenko
Anderson Silva (black)
BJ Penn
Dan Henderson
Randy Couture
Wanderlei Silva
Bas Rutten
Mark Coleman

There are plenty of current top-10 fighters in their respective divisions that are bald/balding, Junior Dos Santos fights for the Heavyweight title next week. Johny Hendricks fights for the Welterweight belt soon.

my post was how balding is viewed in fantasy.

Its viewed normally as a mad villains feature. Also usually those who are generally "mad". I said I wasn't trying to bring awareness, I was making a point. In fantasy such as this a bald character is given off as bad, untrustworthy, scheming... damn now that I think about it maybe we do need awareness so kids dont start thinking this stuff to.

Heroes generally have full heads of flowing locks.... not many running around with "this" doo

hulk-hogan-hair.jpg

I dont "want" balding superheroes, I was just pointing out how its viewed. Also if you want to Nappa, Vageta, Raditz were all villians.

I deliberatley didnt want to point this out because I didnt want to use them because of the Sayin hair mythos.

Even when Vegeta turned good he was still bad.

And side android 18 what chicks did Krillian ever get (guy doesnt even have a nose, plus hes bald and short)??????? And hell Tiene and Chaotzu being "together" was always a running joke. Humans were always made into the b****s in the DBZ world.

You my friend are grasping at straws with your arguments :)

I can come up with a reason why any example is wrong all day. Ill take your not human argument and spin it around on you and say no superhero with hair counts because they aren't human either. Also since you say all the way bald isnt bald Im going to say your examples have TOO much hair since my examples dont have enough...do you see how annoying that is?

Would it make good conversation if I rolled over, threw my arms up and went "welp your right". Not meant to be annoying just making observations.

I dont think you can use an alien WHOSE ENTIRE RACE is bald as an example.

Even honestly the Hulk should not have been used, but he is very humanoid, But I wanted to point out when he became the Meistro he was bald.

Im really not grasping at straws. I want to know what balding heroes there are?

Really narrow it down to your main stream super heroes.... none, yet main stream villians are and its okay.

You can say Nick fury but he WAS a white guy with a full head of great hair, he was now made black and is shaven bald, thats the only acceptable way, shaven bald and majorly black (luke cage)

http://marvel.wikia.com/Category:Bald

Go through the list see how many are bald heroes. Almost all who are are shaved head black guys. Rest are villians. Bald is portrayed as the bad guy, hair is the hero you can trust and admire.

all the way Bald is a hairstyle. I wouldnt want to create a character with the exact same hairstyle as another, it removes a bit of originality. Any superhero that is bald would just be compared to xavier just like bald villians are compared to Luthor. Back in the day, bald being more of a stigma not many heroes where created bald which leads to my next point.

How many NEW high profile heroes have been created in the last 10-20 years? Very few sadly. Most comic characters today have been around for a long time so changing thier hairstyle creates a shock to established readers, causing writers to steer away from it. Bald can look badass IMO. Im skinny and kinda wimpy so I dont pull it off well, but a huge ripped superhero would be popular if the comic was written and drawn well. The only problem is that no one is pushing NEW heroes, only established ones, most of which almost all have full heads of hair.

In games like city of heroes(pre shutdown) and champions online I see badass bald characters all the time.

Thanks.

This isn't a complaint thread. Just thought it would get the thoughts flowing.

@agahi...
All the way bald is not a hair style. There is no hair to "style". Its a look yes but not hair style.

No offense just my opinion.
