Quick Summary of my Past:
- 28 year old male
- History of BALD men on both sides of the family
- Started proscar 5 ago after seeing excessive hair loss
- Noticed SIGIFICANT hair loss about a year and a half ago
- Saw a dermatologist who said Proscar may not be enough. Recommended Rogaine and Nizerol as well.
- Switched from Proscar to Avodart, added Rogaine and Nizerol and saw AWESOME RESULTS!!!!!!!!!! Unbelieveable results.....
Heres where it gets tricky......
About three months ago, I noticed SIGNFICANT hair loss again. Cant be shedding after three months. I have been taking my Avodart, Rogaine and Nizerol as directed, maybe missing one dose in overa year... What could it be now?
Some of my theories:
1. My body built up a resistance to Proscar, now has done the same to Avodart. Somehow my body is rejecting these compounds...
2. Someone on another blog told me there are scalp oils on my head that are blocking the Rogaine from soaking into my scalp.... How do I fix this?
3. Same person said my hair follicles have developed some kind of "hypersensitivity", needing some kind of product called "Retin A" to fight DHT externally. Anyone used this before? Can I buy it at a Wal-Mart?
Well, thats it. I need some advice. Please, anyone who thinks they can help me out, please say so. I have an appointment with my dermatologist in two weeks, and I want to be ready to take immediate action.
