Just wondering.... how much the heredity play a role in male pattern baldness ??? I mean,if nobody in your family three is bald, can you be bald ? Or if everybody is bald, can you not be bald ?

The balding gene is very, very common. So even if everyone in your family tree that is alive and well has a full head of hair, all it takes is one a$$shole somewhere in your lineage to have been bald, and you can inherit it. It's less likely if you're lucky enough to come from a family where most of the man have full heads of hair, but the bald gene is always out there...lurking, like a great white shark. It's hard to believe, but since the earliest days of homo sapiens the men have suffered from male pattern baldness, and it's only now in the past 20 years or so that there is even any way out there to treat the poor souls that are suffering. Granted, our current treatment options pretty much suck for all intents and purposes, but at least it's something that can slow down the ticking clock on your hair follicles. I know it's horrendous to say in some people's opinion, but I believe male pattern baldness will be cured before cancer, AIDS, and so many other major health issues that humans face. Why? Well, because it affects soooooo many more men than all those other things. Baldness may be a first-world problem, but it's still a problem that could make billions for drug companies if they can find a better way to help us.
