Spironolactone does have estrogenic activity, which is detrimental to scalp inflammation.The skin becomes some kind of bright brown tint, which indicates estrogenic activity

I had a close friend who got a transplant and honestly the result wasn't great. the hairline looked off, too straight, too low. it didn't suit his face at all. and after seeing that I couldn't stop thinking – what if the same thing happens to me? that thought alone kept me stuck for over a year.
I knew I wanted to do something about my hair but every time I got close to booking a consultation I'd talk myself out of it. too much uncertainty.
what actually got me moving was finding a hair transplant simulator online by complete accident. I'd actually been searching for ways to visualize the result before committing to anything – tried looking at before and after photos of other people but it never really helped because every face is different. then I came across Hair Simulate. you just upload a photo and the AI shows you different possible outcomes on your actual face – different hairline positions, different density. I wasn't expecting much but when I saw the result I genuinely liked what I saw. it was the first time I could actually picture myself with hair and feel good about it.
I took screenshots to my first consultation. the doctor looked at them, assessed my scalp and donor area and said that realistically we could get close to something like that. not identical, he was clear about that, too many variables involved. but he thought it was achievable.

I'm not researching hair transplants here. A transplant is preferable for someone who has lost all of their frontal angles and crown. If androgens haven't destroyed the crown, then they will over time. And a crown transplant will also be necessary.

Honestly, the continued improvement you’re noticing is encouraging, and a slower pace after the first few months does not necessarily mean you have reached the final result. Since you started several things at roughly the same time, it is very difficult to know whether minoxidil, microneedling or Differin contributed the most.
Keep taking photos with the same lighting, angle and hair length, as the six-month comparison will be much more useful. One small point: OTC Differin is generally adapalene 0.1%, not 1%, so it may be worth checking whether that was a typo. Since it can also cause irritation, it would be sensible to avoid using it too close to microneedling sessions without medical guidance.
Looking forward to your October update. Staying consistent with the photos will make the progress much easier to judge.

In 2019-2020, I had about 800 pmol of estradiol in my blood, and my frontal angles became overgrown and my frontal line sank closer to my forehead.

A person's weight and height play a role in the concentration of estradiol in the blood. A person weighing 50-60 kg and 1 meter 65 cm tall needs 2 mg of estradiol to reach a peak concentration of 90 pg, while a person 1 meter 80 cm tall and weighing 70-80 kg needs 3-4 mg of estradiol to reach a concentration of 90 pg.

Perhaps you don't have androgenic alopecia, because the elimination of androgens with a predominance of estrogens results in pronounced hair growth on the scalp.
