so obviously duta 2.5mg is vastly better than the standard 1mg of propecia that most people take....my only question is,then, how does one obtain a RELIABLE (not some hokey internet stuff) 2.5mg prescription of duta in the US....where its not FDA approved for hairloss??

MY QUESTION IS:

Who takes 2.5mg of Duta? That's so much - it's like 5 pills a day. And that would be so expensive.

I take one Dutas pill a day, which I think is .5 mg. Is this not enough? Isn't it still better than Propecia 1mg because it blocks both kinds of DHT?

Well I Take 2.5mg dutasteride,
For the last 9 days,

AllDayChemist And UnitedPharmacies,

And its not so expensive when bought in bulk and in generic,
I havent had hairloss in a few days but who knows maybe im in for a suprise.

BTW I dont think its FDA approved for hairloss anywhere.

no, it makes no diffrence in 99% of men apart from the fact that dutasteride will obv have more side effects
Propecia was dosed to 1mg because it worked in 99% of men adding finestirde would increse side effects and reduceing it would decrese effectiveness
the question is do you know how much 5ar your body produces, if the answer is no then you don't know how much you need
0.5mg of dutasteride reduces about 90% of 5ar2 (inhibiting type 1 has no benefit to hairloss)
dutasteride is also a good thing for you to fall back on when finasteride stops working, your body does become more resistant to any drug when you take it more and more taking dutasteride and falling back on finasteride doesn't work

talk to your doctor and explain why you want dutasteride. Mine will give it to me but I don't want it.
