I'm a newbie to hair treatments I'm aware finasteride and rogaine are the main two, what are the main three that people speak of? is the third one dutasteride? I have an itchy scalp with hair fall, receding hairline and thinning on top so just wondering where I can start. Thanks!

for itchy scalp, you can use nizoral.

The third pillar people mean when they say the "Big Three" is Nizoral. It is an anti-fungal and anti-dandruff shampoo. The chemical in it that helps with male pattern baldness is Ketoconazole. It is supposed to make your hair follicles less susceptible to DHT.

Its super cheap so you may as well start using it, it will most likely help with your itchy scalp, only use it 2 or 3 times a week as it can dry out your hair. It is also the least effective of the three so dont expect to curb your hair loss with nizoral alone.
