Help with Decision - Propecia or Rogaine

I really could use everyones help with hair loss, specifically my situation.
I have noticed a little hair loss around the temple area.
I would say that my goal at this point is to not lose any more hair, dont care about regrowing because I still have most of my hair.

With that being said, what would be better for me in this situation?

Propecia, any side efffects?

Rogains, does everyone shed hair?

I also did a search on the above, but wanted a current real world feedback on my best options.

f you dont care about regrowing you dont need rogain.
Just do propecia if you can handle the side effects. Else you can try the other stuff like spironolactone, revivogen, Fluridil or even RU58841 but that is higly experimental at the moment.

But something you shuld do whatever choise you make... a ketoconazole shampoo like Nizoral or other.

Based on your answer, rogaine is not an option to maintain your current hair level. Is propecia the best option to potentially keep your existing hair?

1) What side effects come with propecia?

2) What are the advantages of nizoral?

1) Lower sexual desire, low libido, erectile dysfunction, ball acne, watery semen. It is belived that they occur in about 2% off the people who try it, and is most likely to go back to normal if you stop. If they come it is beggest chance that you notice it within first month. If you work out i can also make you get a hard time gaining anything. In other words, everything in your body testosterone dependant can suffer, but your hair remains...
Just to not only have negative things about propecia... If you start you will most likely not notice any different in your lifestyle, sexlife or anything else. Just better hair

2) Make you shed less, a tiny increase in hair shaft diameter, remove dandruff. This there is something else too, but dont remember atm... It can dry out your scalp so use every 2nd or 3rd day.


Those 2 are part of the big 3 wich is propecia, nizoral(keto) and rogaine so its a good choice

Thanks for the help. I just back back from vacation, and wanted to follow up with a couple of questions if I may

1) why do some doctors want a blood test with the proprecia? Is there any side effects involving the liver?

2) where is the cheapest place online to buy propecia? I prefer this route versus going to a doctor

3) how often should nizoral be used?
