Hi all, I'm overseas in China and I bought some Kirkland liquid from a reseller on Taobao. I'd like to know if anything stands out as overtly fake about it. China is known for fake products, but they've gotten a bit better over the last few years. This box retails for $16.99 on Costco's website, and I paid well above that to buy it here. If anyone has a bottle or box that they bought directly from Costco, could you please help me compare a few issues?
My potential suspicions:
1. On each individual bottle, the lot number on the label matches the one on the box, but there seems to be some other lot number printed on the bottom of the bottle. I'm wondering if this is normal or not.
2. The Lot # and Expiration date on the bottom of the box is printed in black ink, and the only few examples I could find online through Google and random youtube videos show either an embossed stamp, or white ink for that. Wondering what is normal.
3. The minoxidil is a bit yellowish. From what I've read, minoxidil can sometimes be clear or sometimes yellowish. Not sure what is normal for Kirkland liquid.
Any help would be much appreciated, I've had decent results from minoxidil over the years and I'd hate to have my gains disappear from a fake product. Thanks.
