my mother and i are both experiencing hair loss. most likely due to different reasons. her loss is more severe... with large bald patches.
i am brand new to these hair loss sites.
i am trying to learn what to do, and get ready to help my mom through a dr appt with dr price, at UCSF. so many of you have written awful postings of her. she sounds cruel. is there anyone else at the hair clinic we can see? or a good dermatologist in the SF bay area?
before any diagnosis or dr appt, i guess i have read that i could buy special shampoos, take iron and zinc, and get lab tests done. any other general recommendations as a first step?
