Hey.. I'm 14 years of age and from the looks of it my hairline has receded to a possible Norwood 1 - 1.5
I've never even noticed it due to me having long hair, I never even cared before I started noticing thinning along my partline, which got me a bit worried as it was a bit noticeable, but that was before I even noticed that my hairline was receding and my crown was thinning, I've been told a number of things, as it could be from stress lack of nutrition, one Doctor I visited told me it was sebbhoric dermatitis, and the dermatologist I visited didn't really say anything, though I believe his examination wasn't very "accurate".
I'm starting to get worried here as I have NO CLUE what on earth to do and feel like I'm dealing with this alone and it's only getting worse,
I've posted on this forum before and was told it could be Male Pattern Baldness (Which seems to be right) natural thinning/maturing of hairline, and lack of nutrition, as my diet is very poor.
I've noticed some more shedding than usual, though from what I hear about 30-80 hairs is usual (Atleast I think)
At the top of my crown, it looks like almost a wide line of hair is missing on the top of my head, though I can hide it slightly by parting my hair in a way,
Details to note:
My Father didn't begin balding until he was atleast 36 and now he's about 52 and has lost a lot of hair, my grandfather (76) has managed to keep his hair pretty much all his life (still has most of his hair) and my uncle I'm not to sure about since he went through chemotherapy, I know very little of my mom's side unfortunately..
My diet is pretty bad and for a while I wasn't washing my hair very much or at all,
Noticed more shedding than usual and some itchiness on my scalp,
Visited two Doctors which told me nothing
Payed for an online consultation with Dr Kumar who said it was Androgenetic Alopecia,
Will Hartfield or Paul Rassman or whatever said really nothing besides Male pattern baldness or whatever,
All in all I need help! And I have no clue what to do! Shall I begin treatment?? If so what type of regimen would be recommended? I need all the help I can get!
PS: If you're hear to commend offensive things then go to another post, I'm being serious as this is affecting my life on a mental and emotional level..
If anyone needs any more photos/images I'll be happy to supply, I've been paranoid and been taking about 100 pictures a day to keep progress...
