Help Me Learn More About The Science Of Hair Loss

Ive been interested in studying more about the science behind why male pattern baldness happens. I was wondering if some of the more knowledgeable people around here knew of any good resources I could use to learn more.

For instance I was trying to look up some detailed information about hair follicles in the donor area and body hair vs the ones on top of the head, but couldn't find much. But also I just want to learn more about the science hair in general.

Maybe I'd need some sort of medical texts?

You don't say. Obviously that's what I've been using, but it's a pain to navigate through the heaps of articles aimed at the general public, and stuff trying to advertise hair loss treatments. Was hoping to find sources that are more focused.
