Help Finasteride 120mg!? There Is Something Wrong Here.

So i recently got some finasteride from my dermatologist. He told me to cut them into pieces of 4 which will end up to 1.25mg each. But i'm scared of sides so I am going to start out with .5mg

Here's my real concern. I bought a scale that can measure milligram. Its called Gemini-20, got it off amazon. It convert grams into milligram. So I put the pill on the scale in it measured to 0.120 GRAMS which is 120 MILLIGRAM... LIKE WHAT!? i cut it into 4 pieces which came up to 30mg...

I went to my pharmacy and she told me that its probably because there other active ingredient in there. It's not only finasteride alone, but other component that contribute to its weight. So is it true? then how the HECK do i measure this?

I am assuming 120mg(5 mg finasteride)/4 = 30mg (1.25mg finasteride) AND 30mg/2 = 15mg (0.625mg finasteride)?

HELP~ i want to start finasteride ASAP. already got my testosterone checked and im mentally prepared.

(this is the scale and how i measured it) 0.001 = 1 mg

A pill is made of inactive ingredients for the most part. Your fear is pointless.

I trust my doctor 100% i am just wondering how i would measure this... I want to know the right amount of dosage to take and not over take them. Im guessing my formula is correct?

No, not correct at all...
Just divide the pill in four and you have the right daily quantity.

1 pill (5mg finasteride) = 120mg X 1/10 = 12mg (.5mg finasteride)....There you go, weigh out 12mg to take daily.

The pill is 99% sugar (or whatever) and a bit of finasteride. If the pill was 100% finasteride it would be smaller than a grain of salt and difficult to take.

If it was 120mg of finasteride then someone is losing money selling it to you and it probably wouldn't harm you anyway.

Just cut it into 1/4ths and do it. You don't need to weigh it.

Just split it into 8 even piles and take one pile a day. The weight of the pill is irrelevant to the active ingredient.
