Help: dermabase density. 1gr = how many ml ???

Given the fact dermabase cream is extremely thick, I find it really hard to measure a given quantity in ml. Weighing it is far easier than measuring how many ml are there. If I knew how many ml equal one gram, life would be much much easier, because all I would need to do would be weighing it.
Do you know how many ml is one gram of dermabase?
Please help!
