Hi,

I am new to this forum, I have signed up to get some advice maybe from people suffering like myself.

I am 23 and I have thin hair... i still have quite a decent head of hair but can resally notice is is now thin, thin at the sides / temples and thin on top. I have have a receeding hairline on both sides.

I have been for consultations and I am in the early stages of hair loss for the top and sides so hopefully there are things I can do.

I am basically wondering what should i get to use for myself... I am just wanting my hair to get thick again, I know my receeding hairline is virtually here to stay but with thicker hair it probably won't bother me as much, I always wear a hat and if it is windy I avoid going out because my hair will blow all over and I try to cover up my hairline and try and thicken my hair somehow.

I am currently on the nourkrin recovery programme which all the stuff can be purchased from boots, it consists of a scalp lotion, conditioner, shampoo and tablets one for morning and one for evening.

I am also very close to purchasing the laser comb to use with this programme.

I have been to see advanced hair studio and had a consultation with the belgravia centre but basically they are just trying to get me to pay a great deal of money and use their products without telling me what I need, belgravia recommended one thing which they offer while AHS offered something different laser therapy etc what they offer so I know they are just trying to get my money.

I have had a look at the revivogen stuff and thinking of getting this. I know hair takes a long time to grow and may not see results in months but I just want to be using the best possible products to maybe see some improvement and get my confidence back so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Forget Lazers (scam) - the big 3 is all you need.

Thanks for your reply...

by the big 3 did you mean Propecia ( Finesteride ), Minoxodil and Nizoral?

I had to google that to find out lol...

If so what products are best for these because when searching a few different ones came up (meaning what companies to buy from)

Thanks

Yes, you can buy cheaper generic brands of finasteride but just be sure to get them from a reliable source.

Hi,

Well nearly a month has gone by and I got on some minoxidil, nizoral and decided against finasteride simply because the side effects listed around the internet have put me off for the time being even though this is probably the most effective thing I could use...

anyway as just mentioned I am on the above 2 for about 3 weeks or so now and also using proc**n tablets and the xt foam and was wondering seen as I am staying away from finasteride at the moment and I have read that the tablets and foam just mentioned are likely to be a waste of money are there anything else I can add to my regime that could get me results?

just to refresh memory, receeding at temples and thinning on top, very thick at back and sides.

Thanks
