Could be the lighting.
What should you do? Go to derm, ask for thrichogram to understand how much hair is in telogen phase.
If derm offers no thrichogram, go to VERY experienced derm.

it's not the lighting, you have the exact same pattern I am starting to form. Aggressive male pattern baldness man. I am surprised, are you just noticing this now? You need to get to a derm, and if your hair is important to you, research and consider finasteride. In the meantime, go on amazon and order 5% minoxidil foam right now. You may have good results with it, as the area where you are thinning is where it is most potent.

But if this is about it being in the telogen phase why would it be concentrated in this specific area only?

Would it be OK to use Nizoral alone if i just want to maintain what i have left and not regrow anything? I am afraid of the finasteride side effects and i'd rather not keep on putting a liquid on my head twice a day for the rest of my life.

I am talking about hair in telogen phase > 15%, not of telogen effluvium. I suggest you have a look around in the forum to understand the hair cycle and how baldness modifies it.

Your going bald and forming a big crown pattern that will eventually reach your hairline.

Unless you go on Finasteride you will keep balding

Shook, what Norwood were you when you decided to get a hair transplant?
What Norwood were you when you said:
"Yeah, meds wont grow this sh*t back"

afraid it isnt just lighting, you you can tell when it is lighting and its actual thinning. Good news is ur hairline is in tact so if u get on finasteride u will likely have perfect hair considering how well finasteride will improve ur crown.

A lot of people struggle with accepting hair loss and wait until it becomes more serious. Sorry to see this man, but keep your chin up and be happy that you are now in a position to take action before it gets worse.

Start on the big 3 (minoxidil, finasteride, ketoconazole) ASAP, a lot of people do great on it.

I was a NW3 before I had my first transplant to adress the frontal third.

Second transplant was to address my sides and construct temple points, along side a little more angle closure at hairline.

I plan on having a fue procedure in a couple years to graft 3000 all over for density
