Help! 19 Year Old Male Who Doesn't Know If He's Balding

Hello everyone,

My name is Josh and I'm a 19 year old student.
Last year I became aware that I might have a receding hairline and I have a pretty big widow's peak.
Now I must admit that i have a pretty big head so I thought this was the reason they were big.
Now I've been keeping track of my hairline and I'm freaking out if I'm going bald or not.
My left widow peak has noticeably less and maybe thinner hair than my right widow peak.

I've been looking at forums here and there and family is an important matter in deciding wheter or not you may get male pattern baldness. My Dad still has a full head of hair with no widow peaks at all.

Now for my grandfathers, my mom's dad is probably norwood 3. As for my dad's dad (lol) was bald when he was 75 but had full head of hair up till his fifties.

The side of mom her family have a lot of widow peaks. For as long as I can remember I had one as well.

I have to add that I only started growing a modest beard last year so I dont know if this might have a relation to the thinner spot on my left widow peak.

I hope you guys can determine if it's all good or if I have to take some measurements.

Although i would highly recommend not to use it....i had used it exactly 1.5 years ago! Gave me sebhorric dermatitis! And i stopped and lost all hair....but after a year of no use i have stabilized

@Endmymisery I've heard some bad stuff about finasteride and minoxidil though.

I was looking at my left temple the other day and I noticed little dark hairs.
Looked up what it could mean and found out that those are new hairs meant to stay.
This apparently had to do with the color, if it were light hairs then they wouldn't come back.
Also if you look at my recent pictures, the one from 2018, I would say that is NW2 hairline which can be a mature hairline.

I do rarely have an itchy scalp at my temples sometimes which isn't good I think?

The bad stuff about finasteride is wayyy over exaggerated, more than 90% of the people do not get side effects and if they do, it usually goes away with continued use. For me, I had low libido (but still able to f***) for the first few days after starting 0.5mg finasteride and then after that week my libido returned with a vengeance and it's been more than a month now on 0.5mg and my libido is just as high if not higher, popping random boners in public when I see a sexy chick. Keep in mind I was taking 0.25mg for a while before 0.5mg and I recommend you to do that too, maybe for a month or 2.

You're definitely balding, that pattern is very familiar to me as I progressed the same way at around the same age and then it got worse really quick, go to your doctor and ask for a prescription for finasteride or else you will continue to lose more hair.
As for minoxidil, I don't like the idea of it. If you are going to start treatments, try finasteride for an year and then reevaluate if you need to add minoxidil.

By 10 pills only and still have Ed 3 months later? Are you sure it's not in your head? Have you tried the cdnuts protocol? I'm not trying to downplay your situation but the mind can be powerful and if you think you're going to get Ed, chances are you most likely will..

my tool changed texture shape and colour and there is no if at all bloodflow going there right now. It was kiiinda getting better some days ago and i managed to get a full erection after long stimulation buuuut yesterday i tried marijuana (used to smoke alot) and my genitals went all totally numb and dead.

Which prompted me to look into marijuana and it unbinds dht from androgen receptors. So currently im thinking my body is either not producing much dht, or it doesnt bind correctly to the receptors, i also have way out of range prolactin. Was perfectly healthy and a horndog before finasteride

That is very odd.... When I smoke Marijuana I get better erections and erections that don't go down even after ejaculating.... Wtf

If you're not getting nightly erections you should get on cialis asap, lack of blood down there can cause permanent damage.

I think he is old enough to jump on finasteride already tho...

Puberty doesn't finish up for some men until 21 or 22. If he's still going through it he could lose out on gaining cm on his dick, more manley facial structure, more base muscle (muscle that exists without intesive strength training) and a deeper voive by getting on finasteride. Men can usually go without dht after puberty but DHT is 100% essential during it.

Cialis is really safe, see a uro and give it a shot ASAP. Were the antiobiotics floroquinolones (cipro or Levaquin) BTW? Levaquin fucked me up good, I couldn't lift weights for three years fue to the joint pains. If yoyvey got FQ poisoning get on a large dose (up to 1000 mg a day) of chelated magnesium and also get on NAC, vitamin E and ubiquinole (preferably mitoQ) ASAP

Yep it was cipro 10 days x1000 mg i had diarrhea from 3 days on but havent ever taken antibiotics again i thought they were just starting to work.

Then 3 days after finishing the course i collapsed and was bedridden for 1 week, got loud tinnitus weak as f*** and my brain feels like jelly. I already ordered magnesium threonate and mitoq some days back hope these help... getting sexual sides was ok you can live without sexual function but not without your brain or body. Shits terrifying yo

Also im curious how many of those extreme pfs cases are like mine and they never connect the dots. Uros will prescribe fq's they get even more fucked like me and blame brainfog and sh*t on finasteride

the worst thing is that seboherric dermatitis is worse than hair loss in my case...
