heavy shedding after stopping minoxidil

I shed a bit after a couple of months of stopping minoxidil due to bad side effects. I thought it'd grow back but I recently shed again, but this time WAY worse. My hair is patchy now, with strong thinning in areas where I targeted the minoxidil topical liquid drops. Now the right side of my head is really thin behind the hairline.

Will this eventually grow back to the state before I started minoxidil? If so how long will it take?

Don't tell him the "wrong" side effects though, because then Fred will tell you that you didn't actually have them. You must know that Fred is omniscient. He can tell from across the Atlantic what kind of side effects you had and which you hadn't, just from reading your posts.

Or, in other words: He is trolling everyone here and spreading false information. Check his latest posts in several minoxidil threads; whenever he is confronted with contradictions, he leaves those threads.

He probably had bad irritation and mega dandruff, it's not like he's taking propecia and got ED haha.

OP, try using the original rogaine/regaine 5% foam — it's more water-based and absorbs quick enough to prevent irritation or dandruff build up. And no, it's unlikely that your hair will grow back without the minoxidil.
