First post! I'm used to being a lurker but I had to post this after the user Whatevr suggested me to do.
This is a personal experience and weird one as well, so bare with me.

So I started notice that I was shedding hair around the age of 21 but was not to concerned, I thought it was just normal. Fast forward to the age 23-24 after a shower, I looked in the mirror and could how bad my hairline had gotten. However it looked ok when dried so I didn't really bother thinking about it anymore. Now lets skip to the nasty part with the head lice.

I have a lot of relatives with kids and one of the kids had head lice. This is a very common issue in daycares. Of course I got infected (probably when messing around with the kid), this was back in 2015 at the age of 25.

After only two weeks I noticed that I had stopped shedding, my hair was super strong and it looked healthy!!! If I pulled my hair or ran my hand through it, not a single strand of hair was coming off. Usually there are quite a lot of hair on my pillow.

I didn't know I had head lice at the time, but I was suspicious because my scalp was itching a lot during the night and i started to google the symptoms. First I thought something in my diet must have triggered this change. But I was wrong, after a month I bought and used a lice comb and noticed the little creatures sucking my blood. Obviously I didn't want to walk around with head lice, so a few weeks of using the comb the lice was gone. And slowly I started to shed again and my hair looked unhealthy once again.

So if you want to cure male pattern baldness get some head lice (joke!) but seriously it reversed it while I had it. How? I have no idea, perhaps it has something to do with blood circulation or oxygen?

Thoughts on this?
Feel free to try it, for me it actually felt like I had massive regrowth but I'm not a scientist or researcher. I base this on looks and touch.

I know I sound like a complete troll now, but rest assured this is really what happened.

It probably has something to do with what happens when lice bugs were sucking on your scalp. Probably they were triggering an inflammatory response that was pro-hair growth. eg. Minoxidil triggers PGE2 which is inflammatory but pro-hair growth. Similarly needling and PRP are traumatizing to your scalp but they are pro-hair growth.

When you google "head lice vs hairloss" you only get sites which question whether hair lice can cause hairloss or not, lol

This dude is more amusing than Fuji.
Lmao, give a guy some rest he can't speak English properly.

My dad's father had lice, he turned totally bald due to some infection caused by lice, then he regrew everything after the infection was gone. (REAL STORY)
