Having reservations I'm afraid.

Started using Rogaine extra strength liquid on April 13th or 14th.

My hair-loss was noticeably thin at the crown before; Since then the shedding has been quite a lot. For instance I've lost around 150 - 200 hairs just sitting here and grabbing at my hair. I haven't washed my hair however in the last day or so and idk if that's just a buildup or not.

I've been using it twice a day everyday. I haven't noticed any small whitish hairs but my hair is a lot thinner now.

I'm 26 years old and before using the product my hair didn't feel nearly this thin as it does now; despite it being noticeable from the back. It also didn't seem to be thinning towards the front away from the crown either. That's where I've been applying the liquid too.

I was curious as to whether or not I should continue use or to abandon the idea? How quickly can someone figure out if they aren't in the select group of people that has Rogaine work for them?

I've read that shedding is good as it means it's jump starting the hair follicle cycle but the pamphlet says beyond 2weeks to stop use. Is this a hard ceiling for quitting or just a generalization?

Right now I'm also just using it by itself; after browsing around here some more it seems people usually use other growth or hair loss stopping chemicals with it which I wasn't aware of.

Rogaine takes between 3 to 4 months to see results. You have been using it less than 3 weeks. You need to continue using it and give it a few months before you decide if it is working or not.

If it's going to work for you, you're probably going to shed for about the first month. Then, typically 3 months of big gains. Maximum regrowth at a year.
