It clearly states that T has the ability, similar to DHT, to inhibit hair growth.

Our animal studies also showed that RU 58841 has a dramatic effect on hair regrowth in the bald frontal scalp of the stumptailed macaque, which may further support our in vitro culture studies showing that antiandrogens can antagonize testosterone-elicited hair growth. In summary, our studies may provide a model for further isolation of androgen-regulated repressor(s)/growth factors, which may help control hair growth and baldness.

Anyone know where to buy this RU product?

If T is so bad for follicles, why did the intersexuals with 5ARD not experience male pattern baldness?

CCS has purchasing info on his myspace page - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... D=91131543

Intelligent input stnl. The point about intersexuals with normal (elevated?) T not suffering male pattern baldness needs a response.

Stnl, the issue is that intersexuals with 5AR deficiency never get male pattern baldness, despite their normal (or elevated?) levels of testosterone. However, the study posted by jackswan claimed that T directly inhibits hair growth, just like DHT. If this is the case, we should expect at least some 5AR deficient individuals to experience male pattern baldness, perhaps at a lower rate than the general male population, but there should be at least a few examples, not none at all! As you know, 5AR deficient individuals were the models for research into 5ARI drugs.

Yea.. most of the stuff here are already been discussed but I didn't find the post that you had already posted up this similar link.

That article is to confirm that T also has its roles in hair loss other than DHT.
