Have you used generic minoxidil?

And does or did it work for you as much as or better than Rogaine brand? The generic stuff is like 1/3 the price. I am thinking about getting it.

I don't think there is any difference from the upjohn brand, aside from price, Kirkland for me. It's all 5%, maybe different levels of Pro gycol.

As far as I know, Kirkland and Rogain have the identical mixture of minoxidil, pgp, alcohol and water.

Some brands try to be different by using different ratios of alcohol and pgp, but they are all 2 or 5% minoxidil.

Minoxidil is pretty easy to make but not worth the hassle for the lone user.
