Have you noticed this since you started going bald?

People tend to be much more critical of you and analyze everything you do much more than when you had a full head of hair. When I had a full head of hair I was always labeled positive things such as honest, assertive etc. Even at work now it's like nothing I do is good enough. I've also been told that I look "sneaky and deceptive" by my parents and other people when I'm feeling normal and not trying to be sneaky. I'm the same person that I've always been yet I can't help but notice how different I'm treated by other people. Hairloss just messes up everything in life especially in our very superficial society now. Does anyone else notice this?

i understand what you're saying, and i agree to a certain extent. but i believe that when you start to think about male pattern baldness a lot, it manifests itself on your face and body language. if you remain cool and confident, people feed off of that, just as they do if you look indecisive or insecure. sadly, it's human nature....only the strong survive, but that doesnt mean male pattern baldness makes you "less strong". it just means that you have to find whatever it is in you that makes you strong...hair is hair, that's the bottom line...it's not some magical thing that makes people better.

Most people do not care about you and your problems... They have much of them on their own. So, the ammount of comments on your behavior stays nearly the same whenever you are with or withour hair. Your hairloss affects only you and noone else - that's why people make the same comments, but you take them harder than before. Treat these comments like "whatever they say..."

That's the problem - everyone thinks about his own hairloss as a defect which should be hiden. This making you nervous about what people thinking, whether they know the truth about you. Don't hide, be the man. You stay the same, just waiting for new treatment, which surely is coming in a while!
