Hi guys!

Let's try to get some kind of statistic of how many people have experienced regrowth after a Propecia shed.
That's Propecia treatment only (+Nizoral is acceptable). I think the information will be of interest to many on this forum.

NOTE
! If it has been less than six months since your shed stopped, then it's too early to answer this poll.

Did you return to the state prior to treatment? Note that treatment does not usually kick in before a full three months, so that's the state to compare to.

Thanks!

Crazy shed for one and a half month -> full regrowth after 3-5 months, way better than baseline. Now, at the 8+month month mark my m.p.b prone areas have taken a hit, don't know if I'll recover.

Insane shedding 3 months in, lasted for like 5 months. Hair never grew back, and continued to lose hair for the 2.5 years I was on finasteride. Switched over to dutasteride 2 months ago, and hoping for an improvement.

finasteride 3 Months, minoxidil 1 1/2 Months.
Had INSANE Shedding on the back like getting a norwood 6 but about to recover.

Also some Hair beginning to grow on the Tonsur...
But to early to judge, I guess

On finasteride since 4 months, 0 regrow! May i'm too old for finasteride.

It looks like finasteride works fine for young people (under 30).

The main problem is that you guys dont have any patience.

Most of the guys quit after a minor amount of months because you don't see any regrowth.
It takes time until a hair follicle will recover.

And what about hair(follicles) that were still fine the moment you started treatment? Some guys see their hair decline even more even though they are on finasteride/duta.

lol studies show that finasteride work the worse for people under 30 . and with low norwood .
look the rossi ten year study .

Devop911 , most of your improvement come from the minoxidil at 3 month .

propecia can work but i think the combo minoxidil propecia is way better .

2.5 year of propecia alone and way worse than baseline . Even the hair that were fine when i started are miniaturizing , this is a huge joke .

Look, i think finasteride, dutasteride, minoxilin and all the other products are just a piece of sh*t!

The only one who has a good day with all this stuff is the pharmaceutical industry!

There is still no cure for baldness.

You have 2 options:

Hair transplant
or
shave it and accept it.

That's all.

So many men daily pamper themselves with all these products and the funny thing is that 99% are still unhappy with the result.

Baldness is a piece of sh*t, when i walk in the street i don't see many men with the baldness gene....It's really a rare desaster....a genetik desaster.

If I wouldnt have the possibilty to take finasteride my hair status would be more than bad in some months i guess. So Hair Transplant wouldnt help any more
