Have not used nizoral yet, is this a big mistake?

I've been using 2 of the big 3 (finasteride, minoxidil) consistently now for 5 - 6 months with some positive results.
However, I came across this site the other day and found out about Nizoral. I was wondering if I have wasted the last 5 months taking the other 2 without Nizoral? I plan to get some this week but I just want assurance that I haven't wasted my time. Does Propecia and Regaine still work well without Nizoral?

It's a good supplement to a regimen and very cheap per application, too.

I don't think you've "wasted your time" so far, though, what you've done will definitely have helped.

i didnt use nizoral too...i used pantene instead. out of the three, i only used 2 of them, namely minoxidil and propecia.

I consider Nizoral a "why not" yet "who cares" component of a treatment plan. It is easy to use and can be purchased over the counter. Relative to the other treatments, it doesn't do much if anything by itself. It probably doesn't do much if anything in combination, either....but ketoconazole has a mild antiandrogen effect that in theory can't hurt.

I think Nizoral is generally considered the least effective component of the Big 3. I don't believe Propecia and Minoxidil are dependent on Nizoral to work.

I used Propecia and %5 Minoxidil for my first 4 months with great results. I never heard of Nizoral until I started reading this forum. I added it to my regimen and have been using it for two months. I haven't noticed things getting any better or worse.

I've been using the nizoral in a 'well if anti-dandruff shampoo can help with hair loss sign me up' sorta way.
