Yes they do. The amount of looks I get from women double when I wear a hat...I wonder why?? LOL.

Because your hat has "Hung like a fire-hose" written on the front of it

Actually this is incorrect. Hats that are to tight can cause "traction alopecia." But anyway....To the OP, take this from someone who has had a baseball cap glued to his head since they were 13 years old, 24 hours a day 7 days a week and only taking it off only at night before sleep.....Hats DO NOT cause, speed up or contribute to hairloss in anyway shape or form (unless its far to tight where it is cutting off the circulation to ur scalp, in which it can cause traction alopecia from taking it off and on constantly or just leaving it on for to long). In fact there was a time during the peak of my hairloss due to male pattern baldness, I wore a hat non stop all day and all night (only taking it off before sleep) and even tho id get alot of headaches, I noticed my hair had actually improved from wearing a hat....I only wore it that much because I assumed my hairloss battle was over (i was on no meds at the time)...Since that time ive realised hats do not cause baldness or speed up the process. If anything it might improve it a little from protecting ur hair from the elements.
