My 1st trichoscan showed around 27% vellus hair with a total of 341 hairs per cm²
after 13 months of finasterid 1.25mg daily, vellus and terminal hair are now almost 50/50 but the total hair density is now 477 per cm²
both scans have been taken on roughly the same spot on my scalp.
Does it mean that finasteride has produced new small vallus hairs ?
If not, then why does the hair density seem to have increased ?
