Hi, I am a 23 year old woman and have been experiencing hair loss for the past 10-12months. I have been on dianette for 5 years originally for my skin but I am wondering if this contributed to my hair loss as I now have low testosterone due to dianette and my trichologist said that dianette can stop you absorbing iron properly as I also have low ferritin. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced hair loss while on dianette? I am switiching to microgynon soon to try and get me testosterone back up. I am also taking iron tablets for my ferritin. I was going to try yasmin but have heard some horror stories about that pill and have read it can cause hair loss so I have decided to keep away from it.
