Has anyone used Walker signature tape?

I need to place my supply order soon, and I'm considering switching from ultra hold tape. It has been the best, so far. However with my oily skin I only get 7 days. Super tape causes irritation.

Anyone use both and see a difference in hold time?

With my first hair system (0.03mm poly) I used super tape (around the entire perimeter), during a hot summer, sweat a lot and got around 12 days without any lifting at all (not even at the hairline). Then I switched to Walker signature tape and didn't notice any major difference until I started using a new unit (again a 0.03mm poly but with higher density) and got hairline lifts at around the 5th day mark and it's not even summer anymore.

I'd never heard of Walker signature tape or adhesive until I saw this thread. Is it a new product they've just brought out? I always assumed the ultra hold products gave the longest hold, but they say the signature version lasts the longest. They claim it last for 3 - 5 weeks. Isn't more than 3 weeks risking it seeping through lace? (I wear an all Swiss lace system). Unless it's been designed not to seep. I'm definitely going to give it a try.

I currently use 1 inch wide Supertape, which gives me an excellent 2 - 3 week hold. I usually detach every 3 weeks. It usually goes very soft and gooey by the end of the 3 weeks, though.

Yes, didn't notice any difference, in hold time, from ultrahold. It's thinner, but I've never had a problem with the thickness of UH.
Sorry one last question, did you notice any difference in shine?

Finally got round to using this. I really like it and think I've found my tape of choice. Get 3 weeks hold on it and it's DEF easier to clean-up than ultrahold. Also really like the fact it's a lot thinner.

How can anyone get 3 weeks of hold? I just can't fathom that much hold time. I barely get to 2 weeks. Should you be kind enough to explain in detail your exact steps?

I don't do anything complex. Lately been using the normal scalp protector as well. Spray that on and put it down. I only use tape on sides and back and front use glue which I re-do weekly and touch-ups every 3-4 days. The summer is arriving in the UK now so will be the real test.

But doesn't your tape turns into gel that runs into the hair system hair? That's what happens to me.
I haven't noticed this. I was worried about this as it's the first time I've used this tape for three weeks but I did a regroom this weekend and the taped part of the lace was very clean. I know everyone's chemistry is different and I work out but mainly calisthenics so don't do anything where I sweat a ton. The summer is approaching in the UK so the real test will be in a few months.

Recently purchased 12 yds of signature. The hold time is the same as ultrahold, and the reduced thickness is nice.

The negative, that I've observed...is that it does not stretch like ultrahold... When installing my thin skin I usually stretch it at the back/ end. I found out, the hard way, that's no longer possible with signature....the wiggle room is gone :(

Following this thread. I switched to tape perimeter and bond up front recently using ultra hold, but it would be cool to see how long I could get out of signature.
