Has anyone taken more than 10 months to respond to finasteride?

As in positive response, regrowth of lost hair, etc. I still haven't at 10 months+ regained what I shed (heavily) in month 1, and I seem to be shedding again, to a lesser degree.

Yes, just a few weeks ago someone posted their results on the success forum with just finasteride.

ok so i have been on finasteride for about 18 months. first year i shed in cycles, probably 4 sheds in total, then biggest shed at 14month mark- i mean it was very very depressing, didn't hardly wanna look in mirror type! seems like my hair has stabilized now, its better compared to when started, much less hair falling out and this is the longest stretch i have gone without a shed in sight. you've written about lots of regrowth- finasteride won't do this imo, it will just keep what you've already got and help thicken it. ride it out, good luck, be positive, it works!

By regrowth from finasteride, I've only ever meant regrowth of the hair shed very early on. It should have come back by now...
