Has anyone seen results by ONLY using finasteride?

Specifically from hairloss on the front. Please say where your hairloss is if you reply. I'm 25, been using finasteride for 3 months, but I'm really curious if I can stop the frontal hairloss (not regrow it) by only using finasteride.

I'd rather not start with Rogaine if I can avoid it.

Yes, that's definitely a sensible thing to do. If you don't see any results, then add finasteride to your regimen.

I've been taking finasteride for over 13 years and it has stopped the frontal hairloss but I didn't regrow anything.

Thanks for the info. Is it also normal to shed a little bit on finasteride after being on it for a bit (3 months)? Last night was the first night I've ever seen hair on my pillow after I woke up. There was maybe 8 hairs on my pillow. I know the body goes through stages where it gets rid of old hairs and grows new ones, but it still scares the hell out of me.

finasteride alone stopped my frontal hair loss in its tracks. I didn't regrow anything per say, but it did thicken up so it *looks* like ive regrown. I also completely regrew hair on my crown.

Tried finasteride for approx 8 months before starting minoxidil. Slowed my hairloss but finasteride alone did not regrow.
