Has anyone made their own hair piece?

Quick story. I'm 37 and I've been losing my hair since mid 20's. I've been taking finasteride for about 2 years and just started minoxidil. I keep my hair really short by buzzing it without a guard. Just tried caboki (didn't like it much) but my hair is too short so I will need to grow it in a bit. I tried toppik before and think it looks better so I order that with the applicator.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here tried making their own hair piece. I found a website that sell the supplies and it is relatively cheap, about $100 or so.

Thanks,

Okay, guess no has tried. Anyway, ordered a stock unit for $180 which includes shipping cost. Should be coming tomorrow. Ordered glue, tape and remover which totaled $42 I figure I'll try it out myself to see how it looks since it is relatively cheap. Been growing out my sides so I can blend it. Wearing a hat for the past week or so. I usually have a buzz cut with no guard. Will try it on this weekend and if it looks good, I'll post a pic or two.

Who on earth has time for that? It would be like hand-sewing your own underpants. These things are dirt cheap and basically disposable.
