Has anyone had success with Fincar?

I've just jumped on Fincar and Nizoral hopefully to stop my diffuse thinning (my hairlines still in tact but slightly thinning and my top and back are thinning) and maybe even regrow some thickness (is this possible with just finasteride/nizoral?) and was wondering if I would be better off buying Proscar for abit more or is this generic Finasteride trustable?

Also, is the pill meant to be blue on the outside and white on the inside?
Thanks Guys :D

I'm on the same regimen (plus scalp exercise) and I've been on Fincar for a year and it's thickened my hair and helped maintain. (still hoping for more) You should be good if you stick with it. Seems pretty trustworthy to me.

And yep, they're blue on the outside, white on the inside.

Thanks mate :) I think they should be OK, already experienced the side effect of liquidy semen but my sex drive is still good and definately no erection problems (for those so worried about sides..)

Also another question..
My hair line seems to go from very thin to not so thin to very thin to not so thin and my crowns always been thin, since I was like 16/17..My hair is kinda going patchy atm, like it will go darker/thicker in some areas but not nessecerily in a pattern, though its mostly the top and back.
And also whenever I do the hairpull test, literally WHENEVER, i never pull hairs out..and I NEVER get hairs in the bottom of the shower.
Is this still normal for male pattern baldness?

You know I can't really say if that's normal or not because a lot of what you described is usually just in our heads / depends on the lighting or current state of our hair. (if it's oily or whatnot) But unless you were checking your front every few months it's probably been similar each time and your minds just playing tricks on you. It takes our hair a month to grow half an inch so it's all a really slow process.

You said you have thinning in the back and front so it more than likely sounds like male pattern baldness. But just stick with that routine and ride it out. After like 2-3 months I noticed my hair was looking worse but then around 8+ months I noticed it was looking way better.

You should take pictures at the start then again every 6-8 months and really compare them to see the difference. I was shocked when I looked at my old pics and compared them with my current hair, it was way worse, but I wouldn't have remembered that at all. When you're looking at something every day you can't really remember how it looked a long long time ago. Time is a funny thing man.
