Has Anyone Applied Ghostbond/White Glue to Just Their Poly Base? AKA No Direct to Scalp Application?

I remember trying it the first time I got Ghostbond & it didn't work well.

I don't think I waited for the glue to dry, and I'm not sure if that bottle was counterfit or not. It didn't look legit, after I saw what the real bottle looked like.

I know ppl who use acrylic glues can get away w/ this.

I really would like to avoid direct-to-scalp application & it's very difficult for me to get things aligned properly.

With the aligning you could use maybe some eye pencil and make little marks on your scalp where need to place the hair system.
And rub them out after.

I've tried but it's not my favorite solution. First of all, it doesn't account for stretching/manipulating the system. Second, I like a good solid attachment before getting a haircut, and I think it's very hard to do the back of your head with stock length hair (long)
