less easier to pinch the skin. I have been feeling my scalp and reading that as you get older your skin becomes thinner bla bla...

Then i tried pinching the skin or 'fat' on my head and noticed i can only grab some 'fat' around the head but not ontop of the scalp (where i am balding.. i am diffuse thinner btw)

Has anybody else noticed this?? or try it and write bak..

Thanks

do you mean like a build up of fat? theres a reason for it but...i cant remember what it is. there was a thread a while ago which mentioned how
bald guys' scalps look different than guys who have just shaved their heads. a build up of fatty tissue that occurs for some reason.

yeah i've noticed this too.

bald guys' scalps tend to be quite taut and thin looking. Whereas someone with a full head of hair who has just buzzed, seems to have a healthy layer of fatty tissue under the scalp.

i wonder what the reason is.

the top of my head has no thinning, and I can't pinch it. My temples are very receded, and I can pinch them just fine. sorry man.
