Has Any (male) Had Or Have Actual Telogen Effluvium?

know sometimes there is an episode of Telogen Effluvium before the onset of male pattern baldness but has anybody had Telogen Effluvium that was not the opening salvo of male pattern baldness but something triggered by surgery, diet, thyroid problems, low protein, etc?

So few men get it and I don't think they usually post on hair loss forums.

If anybody had or has it love to know what your trigger was (if you found out)? How much density did you lose? Did you recover any or all the density? How long did it take?
