Harley Street Hair Clinic, Recommendations And Reviews

Hello,

I am a 27 year old male based in the UK.

I have been taking finnestride for about a year and a half. I have decided after research and also talking to Spex to go with the Harley Street Hair Clinic in London.

I also went to see Dr Bloxham in NYC, who seemed really good but but the reason I went with the Harley Street Clinic in London was the proximity to my home.

I wanted to ask if anyone had any experiences to share with The Harley Street Clinic, I think the fact that Rooney went there and also Spex’s recommendation and the fact that they are really knowledgable and nice sold it to me but would be great to hear from you.

My opinion is that you’ll pay premium for this procedure in Harley Street and the results are not convincing most of the time, but I wish you luck.
Haven’t you checked other well known names around? Lorenzo, Feriduni, Bisaanga, Erdogan, Freitas, etc..

Yep and I’ve seen a few doctors here, 3 years ago almost did a huge mistake and was ready to have a FUT with a very well known cosmetic corporation. Thank god this and other forums enlighten me about the huge mistake i was about to do. Since then I’ve done tons of research about the best FUE doctors and they are not in the UK, sorry. And who ever thinks Wayne Rooney has a good result must be completely crazy, his results are sh*t even more after 2-3 procedures done!

Hi everyone, thank you for all of your replies.

I have also talked to Erdogan who said that I should come back in six months after I had changed my Finnestride from branded to unbranded to mitigate shock loss. It has actually been six months now so I will do this and get his opinion.

I would really like to do this in the UK as I feel like aftercare will be much easier if you need any.

The industry seems to be abit of a minefield, it is quite difficult to know the right thing to do!

Is there anyone on here who has had a procedure at the Harley Street Hair Clinic who I can talk too? I asked them if they had anyone if I could talk to and they said no (this seems odd as other companies offer such a service)

Transform it is.
I was really not informed at the time about hair transplant techniques and was almost lured to have a FUT with them...
The worst part is it is a cosmetic surgeon (I won’t name him) that mainly do boob jobs that was going to do it...
That guy was once suspended from the General Council of Medicine because of neglect too I found it later on.
Nowadays I still remember the 2 or 3 pics of some of the patients he showed me and they were well fucked with the results!! I run away of that.
My next bet was Harley street, they are more informed, more competent, do FUE, don’t deplete donor hair BUT results are sh*t cosmetically mainly for higher norwoods like me.
So, for higher norwoods for now I would say forget the UK.. get your self with the best FUE doctors in Europe, Feriduni, Bizanga, Erdogan, Lorenzo, Freitas are my bet

I think I am currently somewhere between a Norwood 3 and 4. Do you think London could be an option?

My friend went to Harley Street and he was happy with the results. He had 2 procedures within 2 years. I went there myself, I saw the specialist but they never came back to me with the price even if I called twice. Only when my friend called them for me, they came back with the price but I was already disappointed with their attitude so I went abroad. Since then I had 3 procedures, the last 6 months ago, the first 4 years ago. The place I went to was far more professional and I spent less money on the 3 procedures than my friend for 2 in Harley Street (flight and hotel included) Aftercare is not much of the issue, the only problem is to go in the airplane the next day when most people are looking at your scalp but I adopted an idea that they don't know me so I don't care.

Yes JT. I went to Belgrade. Had my first procedure and it was fine, the second one was 10 months later, and the third was around 2 years later. Very professional people, lady doctor - specialist, and two nurses, her assistants. No other people are coming in (unlike at Harly street), they only concentrate on you and the procedure lasts around 8 hours. I'm not sure how many hairs they can do in a day, but for me was never more than 2000 per procedure. I don't think that I'll do it again only because my donor area don't have much left to offer and as it stays now, it's not visible that I had any procedure. If I would take more, probably it would be obvious, so I'm hoping that the hair cloning technology will develop soon.
