Har far does the Lower hairline recede back to?

Can it recede all the way back past your sideburns or is it the furthest it will go back (because we all know everyone maintains their sides).

Look at a picture of Jonathan Ross (British comedian) and you will see what i mean. Even though he has a lot of hair he has receded all the way back to the level of his sideburns.

I receeded almost to my sideburns. Now I think Ive stopped receeding, but Ive now got thinning on the vertex. Cue Propecia.
