Anyway I hope this helps some of you NW2-4s.

I think what looks best based on the pics is to keep the sides very shaved and leave a few inches on the top.

If most of these men through on some toppik they would awesome.

What do you think?

Lol... I cant help but notice

If these guys didn't have temple points, there styles would look like absolute trash.

A saving grace to early baldies

Is a temple point the bit in the middle? Because most of them have zero hair on the temples.

I'm the same - I've lost my hair on my original temple area but still have hair everywhere else (its been like this for five years)

Where your sides are. That big triangular formation of hair. Connects with the temples.

I used to have parallel sides, and my hair looked like sh*t the moment it grew passed a 2 grade on the sides

Pictures 2 and 4 have sides that have gone!

Although for 4 (the picture of sting) this hairstyle only looks okay if you are past 30. Don't do it if you are a 22 year old NW4.

I'm like 10 steps ahead of these guys in the combover game. I'm an NW2.5...very similar to many of these pics, and when I do it up you can't even tell I'm past NW1

If the combover were an olympic sport I'd be a gold medalist

The last two pictures basically show what my hair was like at 18; at 19, it was already a dream.
Again, I think that your perception of hair loss is very optimistic as compared to the situation of the people here...

I think there are a lot of Norwood 2's and 3s going from the comments.

I haven't got any tips for NW5 and beyond unfortunately.

I actually like how some of them aren't hiding their hair loss. They are brushing it back and showing off!

Up to a NW3 I think its okay to do this

none of these are possible with diffuse thinning

Depends how severe and if toppik works with it.

For diffuse - I would suggest a Caesar cut or a little longer. Mess it up, just a touch of toppik, and it should look okay.

I can never decide if diffuse or receding is worse

THIS. And most of them still look like sh*t. If you can pull off anything above NW2 then you will look good with a buzzcut/bald. NW2+ is only acceptable after 30.

Let us be honest. ANY style, if you are diffusing, looks like the copy of the real thing, and makes you wonder what you think you are trying to do with that comb.

Haha true.

Well hopefully this post is helpful to the men who are receding!

You can still look good while you wait for your treatments to work.

Ugh what are you looking at.

They all have temple points. Second guy has them shaved down to less then a .5 blade

Lol this.

Diffuse thinning = hair always looks like sh*t.

Simple rcession is is nothing when you have a entire head of quality hair.

Mate, you aren't focusing on what I am pointing at

He's balding at his temples.

His temple points are still fully in tact.
