Why do some of my hairs look wiry ?
Is this common in male pattern baldness ?
Some of my hair looks like pubic hair.

In my opinion, there are two reasons why your hair may look wiry:
1. male pattern baldness makes your scalp greasy and this affects the single hair
2. When hair is thinning, your single strands of hair have fewer other strands to lean on, so they're less docile. It's like they have too much space and get weird shapes.
It sucks.

It's possible the ongoing degradation of the follicle plays some role in the angle and shape of the degrading hair as it continues to cycle into growth. I remember when my baby hair started reappearing while on Propecia, they were all a little bent and strangely shaped, until they got stronger and longer.

Another question I have is that during male pattern baldness does that hair get thin towards the root or is it the other way around ?

The hairs I shed are sometimes thin from the root and have thick ends and sometimes thick root and thin ends.

Thanks a lot for your help guys!
