Hairs falling out are long, not short?

I Have just read that if the hairs falling out are long hairs and not short newly grown hairs then its not actually MBP,

Is this true?

you could see a dermalotogist/hair transplant doctor to confirm or just wait until it's clearly male pattern baldness (in a male pattern baldness shape)
